What does Informed Research Guide do?
We publish plain-language guides to informed consent, participant rights, and the documents commonly presented before joining a research study.
Do you run or enroll people in studies?
No. We are a guide website. We do not conduct research, screen volunteers, determine eligibility, or enroll anyone in a study.
Is signing a consent form a final commitment?
No. Consent is ongoing. You can ask questions at any time and withdraw from a study whenever you choose.
Do I have to sign up for text messages?
No. SMS updates are completely optional. All articles and guides on this site are available without subscribing.
What kind of text messages would I receive?
Only what you check: account notifications about your subscription, and, if you choose, marketing messages about new guides (up to 4 per month).
How do I stop text messages?
Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT at any time. Reply HELP for help.
Will you share my phone number?
No. Mobile opt-in data and SMS consent are never sold, shared, rented, or transferred to third parties for marketing or lead generation.
Should I share health details through your contact form?
Please do not. Our form does not need health information. For questions about your own health, speak with a licensed healthcare provider.
