Program description

The Informed Research Guide SMS Program is a text message program for Informed Research Guide subscribers. Subscribers receive optional text messages: account notifications and, separately, marketing messages about new guides. Messages include account notifications for subscribers, plus optional recurring marketing messages about new website guides and resources. Informed Research Guide is not a research organization or healthcare provider, and messages do not contain health advice or study enrollment.

How to opt in

You opt in by checking one or more unchecked SMS boxes on our contact page, entering a valid phone number, and submitting the form. Providing a phone number alone is not consent. Consent is optional and not a condition of purchase, access, or use of this website.

First message

After opting in, you receive a confirmation for the category you selected, for example:

• Informed Research Guide: You are subscribed to account notifications. Msg frequency varies based on account activity. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.
• Informed Research Guide: You are subscribed to marketing messages about new guides and resources. Up to 4 msgs/month. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.
